MT. PLEASANT, MI - The CMU Club Hockey Network announced its new website on Friday, marking a new chapter in the club's history.
The website, cmucchn.com (also available through sites.google.com/view/cmu-club-hockey-network), features an up-to-date broadcast schedule, CCHN news, and information on the club and its members, providing fans with up-to-date information about the network.
The new website corresponds with the Networks transition to a registered student organization. Since its inception before the 2021-22 season, CCHN operated as a informal group of students working with each team separately. Now, as one of Central Michigan University's newest registered student organizations, CCHN the network is now able to work closely with the school to improve its outreach to students and access to funding while continuing to bring fans quality broadcasts of Chippewa hockey.
"This is a great move for this organization" said Regan Cleves, the president of the new RSO. "This network has grown so much in the past few seasons since Devin [Serra] and I founded it. I am excited to see what this new partnership will allow us to do going into the future."
The CMU Club Hockey Network is a group of hardworking students at Central Michigan University who are devoted to the craft of broadcasting. Founded in 2021, the network carries on a strong tradition of broadcasting at CMU that started with the Chippewa Hockey Network and gives students at Central hands on experience to prepare them for careers in sports broadcasting.
